You never know where your next lesson will come from.

Recently, I wanted to watch “24" but it wasn’t available on Netflix. Instead, I found another show with Kiefer Sutherland, “Touch". The show is about an autistic, non-communicative kid who sees patterns in the universe. Kiefer is the father trying to communicate. Trying to understand.

Tonight, I saw Season 1: Episode 3, “Safety In Numbers." It ended with:

Human beings are not the strongest species on the planet. We’re not the fastest, or maybe even the smartest. The one advantage we have is our ability to cooperate…
…to help each other out.

We recognize ourselves in each other, and are programmed for compassion,
for heroism,
for love.

And those things make us stronger, faster, and smarter.
It’s why we’ve survived.
It’s why we even want to."

Not only does collaboration make the amazing possible, it’s the catalyst that makes us strive. Collaboration creates the environment in which we want to perform amazing feats.

We bring the greatness out in each other.
